Andre Puttemans is Managing Director of International Project & Business Management (I.P.B.M.) sprl, a Consulting and Services Company based in Wavre (near Brussels in Belgium) which he created in 2004. |

In April 2008, he signed a collaboration agreement with procurAsia to develop jointly the sourcing of medical devices in China. |
|
|
IPBM is specialised in project management, business development and strategic alliances at international level, for the pharmaceutical, medical, biotechnological, cosmetic and chemical sectors. Andre Puttemans has also cumulated over 20 years of experience in dealing with China, first in senior managerial positions with major multinational companies, and since 2004 with a number of High Tech SMEs that are clients of IPBM in Europe and in the USA. |

In particular, he managed the project of setting up a Joint Venture and a GMP manufacturing plant for vaccines in the area of Shanghai for GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, which enabled GSK Bio to take over market leadership for vaccines in China.
He has also developed a very good understanding of health regulations in China, especially in the field of medical devices. |

Prior to founding IPBM, Andre Puttemans spent close to 40 years of career in various managerial positions, first in R&D for domestic detergents with Procter & Gamble in Europe (8 years), thereafter in various commercial and business functions for Specialty Chemicals with Monsanto (20 years) and finally as Senior Project Manager in the pharmaceutical sector for GSK Bio’s vaccines (10 years). These activities exposed him to a extensive international business and travelling experience, particularly in Western Europe, in the USA, in Asia and in Russia. |

Andre Puttemans is also member of the Board of the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) and member of the Belgian Hong Kong Society in Brussels. He is also accredited as Foreign Trade Expert by AWEX and BECI, two reputed Regional Agencies supporting exports and foreign investments in Belgium.He is fluent in French, English and Dutch, and has also some knowledge of German, Italian, Spanish and Chinese. |

He graduated as Master in Chemical Sciences at Brussels University (ULB). He lives in Brussels. |
